Introducing the Great Canadian Wellness Tour
After 16 years of planning and growing, the long awaited Great Canadian Wellness Tour will begin its journey
Almost everyone in Manitoba has heard of the Wellness Expo. It began in spring of 1995 as a small health & wellness show trying to break ground in the prairies as the voice of all things related to “proactive health“. 
The original goal was to create an event that could be taken across the country so all could learn and benefit from the products an services represented at such an event. It was only a matter of time before Canadians realized that our health care system, or “reactive health” as we refer to it, would be challenged by finances and a growing need for more doctors. Our goal was to bring “pro active” health to the fore front to help us learn how to STAY WELL rather than deal with how to treat an illness after the fact. We became uniquely aware of the fact that wellness was a broad term and applied to many areas of a persons well being. Today, the expo focuses on areas such as Mental, Physical, Spiritual, Supplemental, Financial, Environmental, Healthy Eating, Holistic and Cosmetic Wellness products and services. Inclusions for some cities will also include PET Wellness categories. The Wellness Expo works all year long to seek out professionals in these areas who are prepared to face their audience in an open forum. The Wellness Expo promotes the “Try Before You Buy” concept at the shows to enable prospective clients the chance to learn about what the product will do for them before making an investment.

Since 2000, the real challenge for the Wellness Expo has been how to create a version of the show that could be as
successful in every city we visited. A plan was devised and implemented and after years of refinements, the program is ready to go. Finally after 10 years of planning the Wellness Expo is heading out on the road with a traveling version of the now successful 16 yr old Winnipeg Wellness Expo. The first stop on the tour is Brandon Manitoba from October 15 – 17, 2010 . From here we are back in Winnipeg for January 14 – 16, 2011 and in Saskatoon on February 11 – 13, 2011

All the shows are expected to attract between 80 to 100 companies, and will feature an abundance of great options for personal well being that we have come to expect from the parent show in Winnipeg over the last 16 years.
